Afrus now allows you to send payment links! You can easily send specific links to your donors via email.
A payment link is a URL or web link that allows a donor to make a payment quickly and securely without needing to visit a specific web page or complete a traditional purchase process. When clicking on the link, the donor is redirected to a payment page where they can enter their credit card, debit card, or other available payment methods, such as bank transfers or digital wallets.
What Do You Need to Create a Payment Link?
To send the payment link, the first step is to create a Business Profile in the new Afrus.
⚠️ Important: If you don't have a configured Business Profile, you won’t be able to use the Payment Link feature.
Here’s how to do it step by step:
Go to the blue button at the top right of the new Dashboard and click on Business Profile.
This button will open a window with 6 steps you must follow. The first step is to include an easy-to-share URL for your donors. This URL will begin with https://afrus.org/business/, but you can personalize the content after the last slash.
The next step is to complete the contact information for your organization.
Social Media: Connect to social media to increase your visibility.
Customize Your Communication: Personalize your page’s communication sections to your liking. Choose how and what to communicate on your interface.
Logo: Include your foundation’s logo. The recommended size is 400 x 400 pixels.
Colors: Customize your colors and define your style.
8. Save your Business Profile with this button to finish the process.

How Do I Get a Payment Link to Send to Donors?
Go to the Dashboard in the new Afrus and scroll down to find the Payment Link section.
Complete the information required for each field.
You can create it for a ONE-TIME or MONTHLY transaction. Additionally, you can leave the amount open or specify it. A personalized message is an important factor in encouraging your donor to complete the donation.
Once you’ve completed the information, send the email to the donor:

The donor should receive the link in their email and can complete the transaction by following the steps provided.
In the Transactions module, go to Payment Links, where you can see all the payment links you’ve shared with your donors, along with key information: Amount, Date, Status.
With a payment link, you can offer a fast, secure, and simple way to receive payments without needing a website. To use this feature in the new Afrus, it’s essential to first create a Business Profile, as you won’t be able to generate or send payment links without it.
